Browse experiencesWe didn't set out to be the biggest hotel in the city. We set out to be the one you remember years later.
Three generations of the Pinar family have personally trained every member of our 64-person team.
Mobile check-in, smart room controls, and instant messaging concierge — all quietly working in the background.
92% of our produce, wine, and linens are sourced within 80 kilometres. Our suppliers' names are on the menu.
We remember your pillow preference, the newspaper you read, and whether you take your coffee with cardamom. Always.
The work we do in the hours and days before you arrive is what you feel most once you're here.
A real person replies within an hour with two or three room options that actually fit your trip — not a brochure.
Two days out, we email your itinerary, dietary notes, and any special requests already confirmed with our partners.
Your preferred pillow, scent, and welcome amenity are placed in the room the morning of arrival — never the night before.
One point of contact, available by message, phone, or in person — from a 6 a.m. espresso to a midnight dinner reservation.
A handwritten note, a small regional gift, and a direct line for any post-stay requests — even months later.
A few of the 3,400+ reviews we've collected over the last twelve months — verbatim, lightly edited.
"By the second morning, the staff knew our names, our coffee order, and which corner table we preferred for breakfast. We extended our stay by three nights and didn't want to leave."
"We hosted a 12-person board retreat in the library. The chef remembered three of our dietary restrictions without prompting and the rooms were turned around between sessions in under twenty minutes."
"The mobile check-in was the smoothest I've used anywhere, but what I remember most is the handwritten thank-you card waiting on the desk at checkout. That's the whole hotel in one gesture."
Hasan Pinar opened the original sixteen-room inn above his uncle's bakery in 1962 with a single rule written on a chalkboard in the lobby: "Treat every guest the way your grandmother would."
Three generations later, that chalkboard still hangs in the same spot. The building has grown around it, the technology has changed, and the family has welcomed visitors from 84 countries — but the rule has never moved.
